“Don’t make something unless it is both necessary and useful, but if it is both necessary and useful don’t hesitate to make it beautiful.”
– Design House Stockholm.
I once read that an oak tree can take up to fifty years before it hits peak acorn production. For fifty years I’ve been a card-making, letter-writing, reciprocal collector of personal correspondence. I’ve forever longed to design fine handcrafted stationery and found a means to that end the moment I met letterpress. Without hesitation bordering on drunken delight, I seek here to highlight its beautiful nature.
Drawn to simple beauty and the complicated process it often takes to get there, I aspire to inspire more personal connection through a deep affection for the ink and paper connection – one beautifully harvested acorn at a time.
