♥ This design evolved from a simple form to biting off more than I could chew. Daunted by multiple press setups, registration tweaks, and uneven surfaces, I was nearly defeated. When gravity and balance, at last, took hold I was delightfully surprised with a tickle of pride.
Antique moveable ornament, border fills, and line blocks delicately handset in a balanced letterpress composition and put to rest on European mold made cotton paper with deckle edges.
Imperfectly handmade and 100% human-powered on a 1890s Chandler and Price Platen press in Toronto, Canada.
